H3C S5590-HI series switch is a new generation of Layer 3 Ethernet switch with high performance, high-end port density and high security developed by H3C Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as H3C Company) using professional ASIC technology.

Itsupports IPv4/IPV6 dual stack management and forwarding. It supports static routing protocols, routing protocols such as RIP,OSPF, BGP, and ISIS, and supports rich management and security features. It is a Layer 3 Ethernet switch for converged service networks.

In the campus network, S5590-HI series switches can be used as aggregation layer devices, or as the core of small and medium-sized enterprises; In the downward direction, it can provide high-density GE tandem switches, and in the upward direction, it can converge to the core switches through 10G/25G/40G/100G optical fibers or link aggregation, and build high-performance end-to-end IP network solutions together with other H3C products.
